lol!!! I know what you mean it was the same way when Marley used to sleep with us...although she has qiuckly out grown our bed and I am so glad she sleeps on Casey's side of the room, at least that way I don't get the full effect!!

Deaf- I have a huge tree in my back yard and even in the heat of the day or at 12 noon the whole yard is in the shade(well at least 90% of it) I have done alot of reading and have experience with white dogs and the sun burn..I have everything under control so stop worrying..kk!! :wink: On to the burping!LOL!! After Marley eats she belches, usually just once but definetly loud enough for everyone to hear. Casey made a joke lastnight about everyone in the house being dead by morning from all the methane gas we were going to be breathing all night long :roll:

I agree with the 'not wanting to eat the same thing everyday' comment I try to switch up what kind of veggies and friuts the girls get every day to everyother day.

Well under tha circumstances that I got Marley No I don't keep in contact with the breeder that I got her from and Paige came from a oops litter on the next block over. The lady we bought her from was deaf, she had 7 kids and we felt more confident getting a puppy from her (after we knew they were in good health of course!) because we knew we were probably helping to buy her kids X-mas presents! Although I don't go and talk to her very often I do wave everytime I see her out.

We have tried a bunch of dog foods,and just decided to feed homemade meals for one meal a day and sometimes I feel like to dogs are eating better than we are! Maybe its cause I'm tired of cooking by the time I get done with the doggy dinners! :wink: Anyway I was curious to see what everyone else thinks about homemade dinners and what kind of dog food you feed. Marley is on Pro Plan for large breeds and a stew type of homemade dinner and Paige is on a toy breed specific dog food and the same stew as Marley just smaller portions!!LOL! ( easily entertained today! Once again I drank to much coffee this morning!)

I didn't know whether to put this under humor or not but I fiured since it isn't really a joke that it might be better suited here!! Marley (our Great Dane) has free run of the yard all day long and we bring her in for dinner and to sleep and it seems like as soon as she gets all relaxed and starts to fall asleep here it comes!!!! Sometimes its just like a *puff* of wind, ya know the silent but deadly kind. Then other times it sounds like we have the rudest crudest 16 year old male sleeping in our floor ( no offense to any males of that age, but you know your guilty!). Me and Casey just lay in bed and laugh our butts off. Now I feed her kibble in the morning but at night she gets a homemade dinner, and we have also tried thise gas stop pills and things of that nature. To be honest we have just learned to live with it. I was just wondering if anyone else had the joys of living with a farty dog. I hope at least everyone who reads this will smile!

Thats okay DAL, I am coming to realize that if there were that many things that could go wrong (other than the possibilities that already go along with the breed) than it would be easier to come across than it is. So I am going to quite worrying about it and I am going to pick up our new little girl this Thursday!!!! I'll start a post when I get her and let everyone know she is okay and home and I'll post pics as well!! I am so excited that I can hardly breathe sometimes..... :D .

I am thinking of getting a Gray/Blue Chihuahua and was wondering if anyone on here has any experience with them....the information is very limited on the net and I haven't been able to find any breeds with more than a tease of info about them. :wink:

I know that this is an old post but I jjust wanted to say sorry that Scott didn't go for the dog idea.
