Vader is at the Vets this morning getting neutered. He had to spend the night last night so that he was there 1st thing this morning. They told me to call around 2 today. I have 2 hours. I CAN'T WAIT to call! I sent his favorite bed with him since he had to sleep over there. At least he had the smell of home sweet home! :D

I wonder sometimes why God made ticks!!!! Just hate those nasty things! :Dog_run: :black: :chainsaw1:

Great advice! We have an 11 month Great Dane. We've been thru puppy obedience but he has really been testing us lately. He is scheduled for his neuter Tuesday! :lol:

I've been meaning to ask this same question. We have a Great Dane that is 10 months old. He weighs 100+ lbs. The past couple times I've taken him to the vet they do such a good job. In fact, they always do a better job than the groomer. Last time they were trimmed Vader went to the Vet to have surgery for his cherry eye & while he was under, they trimmed them. I want to do them but I'm not looking forward to it at all. He lets me handle his paws fine but he tries to eat the clippers! :-? Does anyone know of a good website for people that just use clippers that has pictures as to how far you cut the nail back? I'm always so afraid that I'll cut to far! Thanks in advance.............. :fadein:

OH MY! We have a Great Dane BUT the Irish Wolfhound is a lot bigger. I knew the Wolfhound was the biggest dog but didn't realize how much bigger! Our breeder had one when we picked Vader up from her last summer but he was still small. Great pictures! I'll have to upload a few of Vader later. :D
