I know what you are going through. I just had to find my baby Thor a new home because of male on male aggression. He is in a safe home now and now no more fighting.

I just found my boy Thor a new home because of male on male aggression, but it does not change the way I feel about the breed. They where always wonderful with my children with the exception of my dads old female who has now tried to bite my daughter twice; one time for no aparent reason. But all of the males I have owned are wonderful special dogs. They just need to be owned by experienced people.

still no luck with the rescues, I am talking to the breeder who sold me Thor and also a young lady in Dallas about him at this time. But now I have till the 7th to have him in a new Home

Always helps to ask, I don't want him going to a shelter, but I can't afford to keep rebuilding the kennels or update them at this time. I will not let him go somewhere where there is a chance of him being put to sleep.

I have made the decision to try to find my Akita a new home. He is a little over 4 years old and is wonderful with people and kids. The problem now is that he is male on male agressive with my fathers Akita. I love my boy, but I can't keep rebuilding the dog runs and breaking up the fights that are injuring them both. He is about 85 pound and was born in December of 1999. I have it growing in my front yard, but I also have not heard of it being poisonous, but would definitely like to know.

Their is a site called i-dog and they have a section dedicated to mixed breeds and anytime someone talks about a cross-breed they are attacked for thinking anything great about the idea

I don't think their is anything wrong with someone wanting to give their mix-breed dog a cut name for the cross. As long as the person is not crossing these dogs for the financial gain, those people are the ones with problems, not someone who owns a mix-breed and calls it a mixture of the two breed names.

I also own Akitas, We have 3 of them in our family at this time. I feel they are one of the best breeds out there, but need to be owned by people that have the time and ability to socialize them properly.

the sircam worm did that to me a few years ago. i still cannot open the email address that was tied to it.

I got the same email. I tried it earlier today and found nothing about animals and have now blocked future emails from the sender.

I had them in seperate dog runs and also thought that it would not be physically possible. My Male actually squeezed his way under a cyclone fence which he has never done in the past.

It was not a planned breeding and after she has given birth and all puppies have been placed in good homes I am getting both of my dogs fixed.

Thank you very much for the help, I have seen so many bad animal breeders on the Court shows lately that I want to make sure that I do not ever treat anyone like they do. We have sold Persian kittens back about ten years ago. We also breed Lhasa Apso for about 7 years, Akitas on and off for the past 15 and never had any problems. Don't want to start :D

My female Dane may be pregnant and I am wanting to write out sale contracts and want to know lemon law so that I make no mistakes that can cause myself or potention owners problems. So does anyone know if Texas does have a lemon law and if so where I can findout all of the information on it. Thanks, Alan
