Thank you for your kind words & welcoming me into a somewhat 'private' topic....I only speak from the heart. Sounds corny ::giggle:: but it's really true. :) Once you get to know me you'll know I am sincere - but I am generally at times, a "kidder" lol... P.S. If it weren't for my internet friends, I wouldn't have been able to be sane through some of the hardest times in my life. I love them to bits! :iloveyou: Nice to "meet" you all. Anyhoo, thank you Lucky Chaos, Marion, Midori115, & Jen xoxoxox

Hi . . . As you know I'm fairly new here so perhaps you think "Who the heck is she to say?" LOL..... However I've been to many boards and hosted many as well and even moderated a few in my day and these days I prefer to be sitting back and enjoying it more 'cause it's so much hard work! I respect everyone who hosts or mods sites 'cause it can be tedious although it is a lot of fun. :) However, in that time I met a lot of wonderful people, and many were friends. Some were acquaintances such as you have IRL. "hello and goodbye" you know, some closer that you emailed, some even closer you postal mailed and even telephoned, some exchanging presents...not cyber presents, I am referring to "real" presents. And I ALSO have met some cyber friends in real life. Some I didn't get a chance to because of different reasons and distances, but there are many I would LOVE to meet that I've known for years and are so incredibly close to. The people that I have met are REAL friends. They are real people, and now I have had the opportunity to give them the hug that they deserved for being so great and such a great, yep, you said it, "friend"! :) I have experienced "bad" things with people on the internet too, those from the get-go, and those that appeared to be friends. But as IRL, you go with your gut, and you just "know". This is something that happens everywhere....it's not "just the internet" but it's "life". People are different, and people will react and be opinionated. It's easy to attack when you hide behind a computer. I've seen many "trolls" do terrible things to others, I've had it done to myself. Not everyone is "thick-skinned" and can handle it. When I first started on the internet I was extremely "thin-skinned" and got hurt a lot. But I've learned my lessons and grew from them and I'm a better person for them. It would take a lot for someone to hurt me now, lol...and I always make sure if I'm not sure how someone is conveying their message, to read it a couple times to make sure I'm reading it correctly. Sometimes you'll find it was YOU who misread. We are all our own directors. We read what WE FEEL. And it's VERY difficult sometimes to convey what you're trying to say, and sometimes you don't do a good job. ::raises hand:: GUILTY!!!! lol.....It happens. But if others say "OK, I'm sorry, that's not what I meant..." I think it should be accepted as a sincere apology because everyone deserves another chance. If it were to continue to happen, well, then you walk away. However, the people that type on these boards and emails; the people on the "other side" of the computer are REAL. They hurt, they feel, and they have lives like yourself. Sometimes it's hard to fathom someone having a relationship/friendship with a person from the internet. These days having relationships over the internet (significant others i mean) are soaring, why not just a "friend?" Years ago people accepted a "pen pal" as a friend. This is just faster! LOL! To me, an internet friendship (or relationship even) is learning about the person from the inside out. No superficial "reading a book by it's cover" messages....just knowing the heart, mind and soul *first*, and seeing a picture, having a meeting later. I think it's ideal in many ways, don't you? ;) Of course not all relationships over the internet are ideal OR safe. You have to take precautions just like you would IRL....you don't talk to every stranger and hand out your phone number to ever tom, dick and harry, however, there is a special bond that can grow from knowing someone this way, because sometimes it's not as easy to learn the person from the outside in, rather the inside out. This is also basically an easier way to find friends who have similar interests and can understand one another. Sometimes even our closest "real life" friends cannot catch our drift, and it's sometimes our "internet friends" that fill that void. And why not? Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you all even though I don't have time to read most of the posts; I attempt to by time doesn't allow; It seems like such a lovely site and I hate to see posts that get a tiny bit sour as I did in the past of the old boards I used to hop on, it has caused me to become silent in my old age LOL, but I learned a thing or two myself, I tend to remain neutral; you'll see that. It doesn't mean that I don't care, it just means I don't think that more "text" will help the issue, perhaps only hurt it. One thing that makes the internet relationships itself so interesting is that we are all so unique; we come from all different parts of the world with different beliefs and ideas and education and cultures; we need to embrace them all and appreciate them; respect them and learn from them. Anyway, that's my ramble and I hope you all don't mind me adding my nosy 2 cents :D

I will of course be trying to get back to my regular self but such is life. How is everyone and everything? The kids are doing great. There has been no solid lead on Snow White as of yet although I refuse to give up hope. I receive calls every now and then from someone who saw or thought they saw her but as of yet those calls havent panned out. i try to stay in close contact with animal control here and there. But here are some updated pics of the pits Daz isnt in these he was actually with my dad fishing at the time. Okay so he doesnt fish but he does jumpin the lake ans scare all the fish away so technically... my gosh! how cute! so weird too, because i have a boxer and had a rottie....lol......very cute....
Ok, we all think our puppy is just the most adorable thing in the world, no? Well, I just thought it would be a great idea to post a topic where everyone could post photos of their babys, not a competition, just a place for us to go when we're feeling down or just need a quick 'puppy fix' I'll start with Tessa and Lily, Donna will be up as soon as we get some pics developed!!!
Hello, Yukhan_and_Kai! Yukhan had a wonderful life with you. I enjoyed reading his bio page; he must have been a fabulous dog! I'm so sorry for your loss. He is waiting for you at the Bridge......happy, healthy, playing, and full of his mischief! Rest well and Play Hard, sweet Yukhan. Maybe my Max was there to greet you......
You are such a doll! Thank you so much! You've brought tears to my eyes! I really hope so!! I really do.....Thank you! xoxoox -
had: as a child i had a GOLDEN RETRIEVER as an older child a mixed but looked exactly like a SHEEP DOG and had a Rottweiler that just passed and currently have a BOXER aside from those what do i wish?: i would say.....gosh, i don't know necessarily the names....i love so many LOL....but i do love mastiffs and i do love pugs....quite a contrast! LOL....love ridgebacks and i think it's a setter but it's speckled....is it english setter? doberman, um......LOL.......i can keep going but i'm starting to ramble already. i heard a PEEKAPOO is a great "newer" dog that doesn't shed and it's SOOOOOO adorable.
-
welcome! i'm sorta new here too  well, i had a rottie and i have a boxer...i always socialized them with other animals and people and they were great with everyone. if you're getting a puppy the idea is to keep them all happy...it may be the old timers have the problem, not so much the new "guy"....but you can't tell till you get him/her 'cause just like people, each has their own personality.... i love boxers and mastiffs.....they're both great -- i love all dogs!!! lol! especially big ones lol... =^..^= ....but being i am a boxer owner i have to say BOXER! they are great with children too! p.s. like i said i had a rottie and he was great so you can never tell. it's how YOU bring them up that counts! good luck.

Thanks for taking the time to check it out! I appreciate that very much! I had a surprising and lovely letter in the mail. I actually got it a couple of days ago but didn't rush to open it thinking it was just soliciting mail; Anyway, turns out it was a College of Veterinary Medicine that said that the office in which cared for Yukhan and later put him to rest had donated money in his honor and name....the tears just poured down! I thought that was just the loveliest sentiment.....how sweet.....and kind these people are. And we actually only got to know them. They know how hard it was for us, and this was such a wonderful thing they've done. I am touched beyond words. The money will go to benefit research studies of diseases that affect dogs of all breeds. My dog had liver cancer (and gallbladder) but the liver was terminal. Anyway, thought I'd share..... Thanks again. -
Hello. I created a website for my dog(s) some time ago when I was on AOL, and even previous sites before, and many of them lost. I kinda gave up but then recently my dog was ill, and later discovered the day we put him to rest, that he had terminal liver cancer. He had cancer of the gallbladder and the cancer that was in his liver was completely consumed inside. We are devastated beyond words and miss him terribly. It's only been a few weeks so we are still grieving; and I suspect I will always be grieving no matter how much time passes; Yukhan was very special to all of us and you can visit his memorial, see pictures of all of us together and even read about Yukhan in the BIO area. I will also eventually add the "last day" bio but I can't find it in myself to "go there" yet...... I will and I will post when I do..... Meanwhile check out the website, there are also graphics that I made and I will be adding more as well. Many websites I'm currently making so please come back. The object is to never forget Yukhan....and let the world know about this incredible Rottweiler..... Thank you in advance for taking the time to "get to know" him. Take care, Yukhan and Kai's Mommy......xoxo
Important: Please note that these pages were made on geocities which has limited bandwidth so sometimes if there is heavy traffic what happens is the page(s) become temporarily unavailable; so please come back soon to see Yukhan (and Kai) and/or save the page to your favorites for easy finding later.
