Beautiful Border Collie

Thanks for all the GREAT advice. I will be taking him to the vet soon as he is due for his yearly checkup. I for sure will let you know what the vet says.

My 2 year old male poodle needs your advice. Last year i had to pull out a baby tooth that was rotting away and smelled bad. Lately i noticed his breath is bad again. I looked at his teeth and some have greenish spots on them. Do you think he may have a gum disease? He is always licking the air. I dont brush his teeth as often as i should. Anybody else with poodles have a problem like this? Not all his teeth have the spots and the spots arent all over one tooth either, they are on about 3 teeth. I tried to scrape one off with my finger nail and it wouldnt come off. I dont want a toothless poodle, i want him to keep all his teeth! :shiny:

You are NOT being NOSEY at all! I have the same problem. Only the neighbors are a small company and they have now just 1 German Shepard. The dog and the other one that is now gone ran out of the fenced area and attacked my dog 9 times! Now one dog is gone and the other one still does it. This dog runs after my truck too. The dog only ran after my dog when nobody was looking. The problem is that they leave the fence open during the day to get their forklift in and out. Also, they dont beleive this ever happend!! Im so sick of it. There is no animal control here. The police gave them a citation last time it happened and we went to court over it. The owner said it didnt happen even though he wasnt there and i had witnesses!!! :WTF: You are doing the right thing. I live in the country so theres not much i can do. Hang in there.

You can substitute the bones with bone meal, if you are unsure about giving your dogs bones. My border collie eats the bones but my poodle is so small i prefer not to give them to him and it takes him so long to eat them anyways.

There is a place near here that sells what they call "hybrid dogs". There are so many of them. Some are called PUGGLES, YORKIEPOO, SCHNOODLE, LABRADOODLE, PEEK A POO, MALTAPOO- i cant remember them all. Take a look if you want. Its at the barkinglot.com.

I hope you mean [u]WHAT ISNT MY DOG AFRAID OF[/u], cuz thats a much smaller list :D Hes a border collie and spooks easily. He is afraid of the vacuum, thunder, my fan, a cord hanging from the wall, an alligator head i got in Florida( he knows it as the MONSTER), my gazelle exercise machine, the word "fifty", and the words"zoom zoom zoom" and for some reason the state of Florida. Guess its because thats where the"Monsters"head is from. :roll: there are more, but i cant remember them all. Right now my dogs are playing with a ladybug! How cute!!

I have one beautiful tri colored bc. He is 4 years old. He is soooo smart. If there is anything on the floor that shouldnt be, like paper, he will pick it up and bring it to me. If i want the remote, he will bring it to me. My slippers too! All i have to say is- my feet are cold Casey. Will get his pic up soon.
