Hi, I do wish I could take him, I have two Maltese dogs now. I live in a small duplex and I have to pay extra every month for my two dogs. I had to beg the landlord to let me have my dogs here in the first place, you know how that goes! We would do anything for our "kids". I would love to have him, I don't know how well he would get along with other dogs, being they are both 4 years old and very active. I do hope he is being well taken care of now, I am sure he is being in a foster home. He sure is a cutie, and I can't believe anyone can be cruel to any animal. I think there should be way stiffer laws against abusers of animals. Thank you. :angel:

Yes, I agree that calling a child names and being degrated is one of the worst things a parent or anyone can do. Just ask me. I have been told that I am worthless, stupid, fat etc. all my life. Do I believe it, not on the surface. But, I still have these thoughts in my mind and can still hear my parents, brothers and classmates harsh words like it was yesterday. It is a hard thing to grow out of and like I said, deep down the words are still there.

Would you call your child stupid? That is how I feel about my dogs, like they are my children. I would never call them that and don't understand people that do. They lay around the house all day, get watered and fed, and get lavished with hugs, pets and kisses. We go to work all day. Which really is the more intelligent of the two? I say the Dog! :modla:

[color=blue][/color][color=red][/color] I was a little upset at how you called your dog, Duke, stupid. You need to have patience with him, he seems like an otherwise smart dog. I agree to use treats and praise him when he does something right. You might not want to teach him to open the fridge, though. He might take advantage of that leftover chicken!
